My favorite from the awesome couples of 2012. Here’s to making 2013 even cooler…

I LOVE this couple. Their sweetness made me cry THREE times during their wedding day. They were absolutely brimming with excitement to marry each other and I couldn’t have been more honored to be able to capture their day and just get to hang out with them, their wonderful families and friends. Since Thanksgiving is REALLY SOON, I wanted to get a sneak peek up before I go M.I.A for a few days. Jen and Stephen – thank you. Just…thank you. You made me realize all over again why I love what I do. Here’s my favs:
Jen’s dad made her bouquet. How sweet is that?!
Sweetest. First. Sight. Ever.
Love 1000x
And because we did it for their engagement session, we returned with different outfits
This is a seriously beautiful couple and I had a great time hiking around the Ransom Canyon trails where they go running together. They are having their wedding next month in St. Lucia! Congrats, you two!
I love this couple. They make each other so happy and it’s completely infectious. I had more fun with them than I’ve had in a long time. Jen’s smile completely lights up the world and Stephen rocks a pretty sweet Gerard Butler vibe. They get hitched in just a couple weeks and I am honored they chose me to capture it. Here are a few of my favorites from their session!
I have personal interest in this wedding, as Julia is my lovely sister-in-law! She is one of the most creative people I know and thought of so many unique details to make this wedding day special and meaningful for her and Justin. I am posting WAY more than I usually do, simply because 1. I can and 2. I want to. I loved so many images and moments from this day. I could do an entirely separate post of pictures of my daughter, Olive, dressed for this occasion. And I just might…but for now, it’s all about the bride and groom!
This pin was her “something borrowed” from her grandmother
Something old: try vintage French lace from the early 1900′s
The shoes! Which she, of course, added a personal touch with the bows in her wedding colors.
Favorite!
I love how the wind caught her skirt!
Sebastian hiding during the ceremony
Bailey not hiding as well
The wedding topper was from her grandparents’ wedding cake!
Many, many more to come! Congratulations, Julia and Justin – I love you both and am so happy I got to capture your day!
The ever-impressive, Denae Hutson decided to trust me enough to do a swap shoot with her this year and I couldn’t have been more excited or nervous! Denae is a downright genius with family and baby photography and I am the first to admit that weddings, not families, are my forte. But when you have a family as beautiful as hers and kids as well-behaved as these two little guys, it makes the job so much easier! And fun!
These are two of the coolest cats I know. Jeff is an awesome cook and Bryton is insanely creative (I don’t know her well, but judging by her hair, I think it’s a fair assessment) I am super pumped to get to be a part of their wedding day in just two more weeks!
Beatrice and Brent got married at the Ransom Canyon Lake House this Saturday. It was a hot, sun-shiny day, but it was beautiful and so many people came out to celebrate with them. Beatrice is one of those people that if you hang around her enough, you realize she would do just about anything for you if you asked. I only wish I knew Brent better, as I’m sure he’s just as awesome as Beatrice!
Here are a few of my favorite images from their day.
Had another little photo shoot with Miss Olive. She’s almost 6 months and sitting up like a pro! She’s the happiest part of my days and I am always unashamed to brag!
