Meet Me

My name is Alisa Joy Palmer. I’m 28 and I learned how to roll my own film in a janitor’s closet-turned darkroom in 10th grade. (thanks, Mrs. Shoemaker!) When I started sucking at product photography in college and started excelling in any assignment dealing with faces, I knew I had to make something of my life behind the lens. I’m happy to say this is the best job I can imagine, other than being an ice cream tester at Haagen-Dazs. I consider myself successful as your photographer if a year later we are still keeping up with each other on Facebook. I care about you more than I care about your money and I’d be willing to eat lint off the floor to prove it.

I love laughter, awkward people, my dog, my awesome husband and LOST. I hate fake smiles, overly critical people, touching my pinkie toe, and bad grammar. If you are an awesome person who wants awesome photographs, well ain’t that a peach! You’ve come to the right place.
